Why these awards
Recognition that earns its weight.
The Platinum Capital Awards exist because too many industry recognitions are decided by ad budgets, not impact. Ours aren't. Our newsroom does the work, our jury holds the line, and our winners earn the trophy on the same evidence we'd run a feature on.
Editorial credibility
Decisions made by working journalists and analysts — never paid juries or vendor panels.
Verifiable evidence
Every shortlisted nominee is checked against public filings, primary sources, and direct interviews.
Global reach
Coverage across 29 newsroom beats and a readership that spans GCC, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
A year of value
Honourees retain a winner's badge, an editorial profile, and a year of media mentions — not just a trophy.

Judging criteria
Three lenses. One verdict.
Every nominee is scored on the same published rubric. The same rubric a winner sees is the rubric a runner-up sees. No backroom weightings, no commercial overrides.
- Impact (40%)
- Measurable outcomes — financial, operational, or social. Growth that survives audit. Decisions that hold up to a market cycle.
- Integrity (35%)
- Governance, ethics, and treatment of stakeholders. We screen for compliance history, employee sentiment, and customer outcomes.
- Durability (25%)
- Whether the nominee's edge is structural or fashionable. We weight winners who'll still be relevant five years from now.
Common questions
What you should know before nominating.
Who can be nominated?
Companies and individuals from anywhere in the world, as long as their impact in the last 18 months can be evidenced. There are no fees to nominate or to win.
Is there a cost to enter?
No. Nominations are free and remain free through the editorial shortlist and jury rounds. Optional sponsorship and table packages exist for the gala — they have no influence on judging.
How are winners chosen?
A two-stage process. The Platinum Capital newsroom assembles a shortlist on verifiable impact and integrity. An independent jury then scores the shortlist on a published rubric.
Can past winners win again?
Yes — in a different category or for a clearly different body of work. Repeat wins in the same category require at least a two-year gap.
What does winning give me?
An engraved trophy, a signed certificate, the right to use the official winner's badge in marketing, an editorial profile in The Platinum Capital, and inclusion in the year's Hall of Excellence.
Where is the gala held?
Location for the 2026 edition is announced in May. Past editions have rotated between London, Dubai, and Singapore.
Nominations close 30 June 2026
The work is done. The recognition is overdue.
Two minutes to nominate. Two weeks to hear back. A full year of global editorial coverage if you win.
