Section 01
Ownership
All editorial content published on www.theplatinumcapital.com — including articles, photographs, illustrations, video, audio, infographics, design elements, and the underlying software — is owned by TPC Media Ltd or by contributors who have licensed it to us. It is protected by copyright and related rights under United Kingdom law (in particular the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988) and equivalent laws internationally.
“The Platinum Capital”, “TPC”, “TPC Awards”, the associated word marks, and the logos used on the Site are trade marks of TPC Media Ltd, whether registered or not.
Section 02
Permitted use without further permission
The following uses do not require additional permission from us:
- Personal, non-commercial reading and reference.
- Sharing a link to one of our articles on social media, in messaging apps, or by email.
- Quoting a short extract (typically up to 100 words) for the purposes of news reporting, criticism, or review, with clear attribution to The Platinum Capital and a link to the original article. This relies on the fair-dealing exceptions in UK copyright law.
- Limited internal circulation within your organisation (such as forwarding an article to colleagues), provided the original is not modified and is attributed.
All other uses require permission. The list above is not a substitute for the fair-dealing rules; if your intended use is borderline, please ask.
Section 03
Licensing for commercial use
Commercial reuse of our content — including syndication, reposting on a third-party site, inclusion in databases, paid newsletters, or marketing materials — requires a written licence.
Examples of licensing we offer:
- Single-article reprint rights with optional translation.
- Archive access for libraries and research institutions.
- Branded reprints (PDF) for use in pitch decks and corporate communications.
- Bulk syndication for partner publications.
For all licensing enquiries, please contact licensing@theplatinumcapital.com with the URL of the article, the intended use, the duration, the territory, and (where relevant) the print run or audience size.
Section 04
Text and data mining; AI training
We expressly reserve our rights under section 29A of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and the corresponding UK Database Regulations. Our content may not be used for text and data mining or for the training, fine-tuning, evaluation, or grounding of any machine-learning model, large language model, or other AI system, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes, without an express written licence from us.
This reservation is reflected in technical signals on the Site, including our robots.txt and where supported the TDMRep / IETF AI-preferences metadata. Compliance with the technical signals is required but does not in itself constitute a licence.
If you wish to discuss a licence for AI training, please contact licensing@theplatinumcapital.com.
Section 05
Content owned by third parties
Some content on the Site is owned by third parties and used by us under licence (for example, stock photography, charts produced by data vendors, or material attributed to news agencies). Where third-party content is identifiable as such, your reuse of it requires permission from the underlying rights-holder, not just from us.
Section 06
Reporting infringement of our rights
If you believe content of ours has been reproduced, distributed, or otherwise exploited without permission, please email legal@theplatinumcapital.com with the relevant URLs, screenshots, and any context. We act on credible reports.
Section 07
Reporting infringement by us
If you believe content published on the Site infringes copyright or another right of yours or of someone you represent, please tell us. We take such allegations seriously and will investigate.
To allow us to respond promptly, please include:
- Your name and contact details (and, if you are acting on behalf of a rights-holder, the relationship).
- A description of the work you say has been infringed and where the original can be found.
- The URL on our Site where the alleged infringement appears.
- A statement, in good faith, that the use complained of is not authorised by you, the rights-holder, or by law.
- A statement that the information you have provided is accurate.
- An electronic or physical signature.

You may use our trade marks only with our prior written permission, and only in the manner we approve. In particular, you may not use our trade marks in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.
