Is this editorial coverage or paid placement?
Paid placement, clearly labelled as Featured. Our editorial coverage remains independent β sponsors and featured parties do not see editorial content before publication, and being a Featured party does not buy editorial mentions. The badge and profile are commercial; the cross-link from editorial happens organically based on relevance.
What happens to my profile if I stop paying?
Nothing. TPC Featured is a one-time fee for permanent inclusion. There's no annual subscription, no renewal, no expiry. Once you're in, you're in β forever.
Can I update my profile later?
Yes. Annual content refreshes are available β at 50% of the original tier price β so you can update your story, photography, leadership team, or any other content block. The badge and the induction year stay the same.
Who qualifies to be featured?
Companies with real revenue, real customers, and a clean public record. Individuals with a verifiable track record in their field. We screen for sanctions exposure, regulatory issues, and reputation flags. Our acceptance rate runs around 60β70% of applications β we're selective without being precious.
How do you handle the editorial firewall?
Featured profiles live on a separate URL pattern (/featured/...) with clear visual treatment that distinguishes them from editorial. They are excluded from editorial recirculation modules. Editorial mentions of featured parties only happen when there's a genuine news reason β never as a paid mention.
Can I embed the badge anywhere?
Yes β your website, deck, email signature, social profiles, LinkedIn, GitHub, anywhere. The badge SVG is served from theplatinumcapital.com so it's verifiably authentic.
